GUEST BOOK

Although living far apart we didn't see Warren as much as we'd like to, it was always great when he and Memo came to the shore and we got to visit and share a Mac and Manco's and a bass. He will always be with us in memory. Everytime we got together it was a little joke we shared giving each other the 'secret' Sigma Chi handshake and a wink. It was also great knowing there was a man that could keep Memo happy! There will be many people that will miss Warren and we consider ourselves honored to have known him.

Warren was a friend, a mentor, and a gentleman. He was a talented bridge player who had a knack for making all of his partners better. I'll miss him.

Warren will truly be missed. We always enjoyed spending time with Warren. His stories were captivating and we could never get enough! We are thankful for all the time we got to spend with Warren and only wish we could have had more. Warren was a wonderful addition to our family and he will always be remembered.

I will miss his smile, that twinkle in his eye, and bounce in his step. What a pleasure to know such a fine gentleman. We can all take pleasure in the fact that Warren knew we all cared about him deeply. We'll have a few toasts to Warren this summer in ocean city. Good bye my freind.

I offer my deepest condolonces for the loss of a great man. Warren was always the most kind-hearted and good-spirited guy at every Hennings family event. He was also the first to offer a cold drink and a convincing story about how his beloved tarheels were going to the NCAA Final Four every time I got the pleasure to see him. He will be greatly missed!

Warren will be greatly missed! I will remember Warren as a true gentleman. He always had the most proper speech and somehow had a way of bringing you back to the older more laid back days! I am thankful for the way that he cared for Meemo! I loved listening to his stories, he had a memory like no other! He had a wonderful sense of humor and fit in with our family from day one! We are all better people having known Warren! Love, Amanda

Some of my memories about Warren... He had a real love for big band music...especially the trombone which he used to play himself. And he had collected many reel to reel tape recordings of music from the 50's and 60's. Whenever he attended a wedding, he really got jumping when the music veered to the big band sounds....and if he wasn't dancing to it, he was at his seat with his foot tapping to the beat. Music kept him young. At the Jersey shore Warren had a favorite Jewish deli that he liked to go to...he would drive me across the Ocean City bay bridge to Somer's Point circle so he could get away from all the women in the family, get his favorite sandwich and then talk to another guy about his favorite topics...politics and sports. It was a real joy for him to have that opportunity. Warren was a very giving man, exceedingly generous and courteous, with the ability to try and make everyone fit in and feel at home. Now his lifelong job of helping other people is over...and today we offer these thoughts in memoriam for a life so well lived.
